Rev. Robert Hasley, Jr.

Senior Pastor

Rev. Robert Hasley is a 1974 graduate of Hendrix College in Conway, Arkansas, and received his masters of theology and doctorate of ministry degrees from Perkins Theological Seminary in 1977 and 1978, respectively. He served as associate pastor of Highland Park United Methodist Church in Dallas from 1978-1986, prior to becoming organizing pastor at St. Andrew United Methodist Church of Plano in 1986, where he continues to serve as senior pastor today.

A strong commitment to leadership in civic organizations is an extension of Robert’s dedication to the principles of faith which often inspire and guide community service. Robert currently serves as chairman of the Committee on District Superintendency for the Dallas Northeast District of the North Texas Conference of the United Methodist Church. He is a member of the Board of Directors of Methodist Hospital System and also serves on the Pastoral Care Advisory Committee of Children’s Medical Center of Dallas. He is a member of the Diversity Advocacy Committee for the Plano Independent School District and is a past chairman of the Board of Higher Education and Campus Ministry of the North Texas Conference of the United Methodist Church. Rev. Hasley served as a member of the Creating Congregations Task Force for the North Texas Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church in 1995. His leadership roles for the Plano Independent School District included responsibilities as a member of the Curriculum Advisory Committee during 1993. Rev. Steve Robertson

Executive Pastor

Rev. Steve Robertson is a native of Dallas, graduating from Dallas Sunset High School. His undergraduate degree was earned at Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas. He received his seminary education from SMU’s Perkins School of Theology. Prior to his appointment to St. Andrew, Steve was the Senior Pastor at the Floral Heights United Methodist Church in Wichita Falls, Texas. Before going to Floral Heights, Steve was the Executive Pastor at the University Park UMC in Dallas for seven years. Steve has also served as Senior Pastor at the Wesley UMC in Wichita Falls and The First UMC in Forney, Texas. He and his wife, Connie, met while Steve was an Associate Pastor at First United Methodist Church in Plano. They have two children, Jacob and Erin. Contact: 214-291-8029.

Rev. Charles Stokes

Associate Pastor

Rev. Charles Stokes is an ordained deacon in the United Methodist Church. He has served as a United Methodist minister for over 40 years.  Rev. Stokes has served in various roles and is currently leading the Saturday evening worship service at St. Andrew. Prior to serving St. Andrew UMC, Charles spent eight years at Highland Park United Methodist Church in Dallas, Texas. He received his bachelor's degree from the University of Mississippi, studied at the United States Army School of Business and received his Master of Divinity at the Candler School of Theology. Rev. Edlen Cowley

Associate Pastor, Lead Pastor of 
Frisco Campus

Rev. Edlen Cowley is an ordained elder in the United Methodist Church. Prior to coming to St. Andrew, Rev. Cowley served on the staff of St. Luke Community UMC, led a conference initiative and was the founding pastor of The Foundry Church of the North Texas Conference. He last served as Senior Pastor of Owenwood UMC before coming to St. Andrew. He received his bachelor's degree from The University of Texas at Dallas, and his Master of Divinity from Perkins School of Theology at Southern Methodist University. He has done further work on new church development in The Fitzgerald Academy, and he currently teaches the United Methodist School of Congregational Development. Contact: 214-705-6070.

Rev. Arthur Jones

Associate Pastor, Lead Pastor of The Well

Rev. Arthur Jones is an ordained elder in the United Methodist Church. Arthur received his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Kansas and his Master of Divinity degree from Duke Divinity School. Having grown up in a family of preachers (Arthur is a fifth generation Methodist preacher), he has been around the church his entire life and is ready to see it engage his generation in a new way. Rev. Jay Cousino

Associate Pastor

Rev. Jay Cousino is an ordained elder in the United Methodist Church. Jay is a native of Detroit but lived most of his life in Florida. He received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Florida, and a Master of Divinity degree from Asbury Theological Seminary. Jay has served as the Director of Youth Ministries at St. Andrew for more than a decade. He is passionate about students getting REAL in their walk with Christ, while being steeped in a community that truly loves one another. Rev. Jennifer Arnold

Associate Pastor

Rev. Jennifer Arnold is a Licensed Local Pastor in the United Methodist Church. She has a degree in elementary education and has over ten years experience as an elementary school teacher. She served as the Director of the Nursery program at St. Andrew for eight years. Jennifer was also instrumental in founding the Gary’s Angels Ministry at our church. Kim Meyers

Minister to Children and Families

Kim Meyers accepted the position of Minister to Children and Families for the church beginning January 2 of this year. While working full-time at St. Andrew, Kim is continuing her studies at SMU’s Perkins School of Theology pursuing her ordination as a Deacon in the United Methodist Church. Prior to her accepting this position, Kim served at Crossway United Methodist (a new church start sponsored by Grace Avenue UMC of Frisco), as Ministry Coordinator. In this role, Kim was responsible for over seeing the entire education ministry of the new church, including nursery, children, and youth ministries. Before accepting the position at Crossway, Kim was the Director of Rainbow Center, the large and successful pre-school program at Grace Avenue. As Director, Kim was responsible for classroom management, teacher recruitment and development, curriculum, managing the annual budget process, overseeing staff, and all communications to parents. Prior to working in Christian education, Kim taught elementary school in Richardson, Plano, and Frisco. Kim is married to Dan, and they have two sons: Cody, age 9 and Dylan, age 6. Dr. Scott Engle

Teaching Pastor

Dr. Scott Engle joined the St. Andrew staff in 2002 and has led St. Andrew’s Bible teaching ministries since then. Scott teaches a variety of popular classes during the week and a large adult class on Sunday mornings. Scott has also written more than 500 weekly Bible studies over the last ten years, having made these an integral part of St. Andrew’s commitment to teaching Scripture. In the fall of 2007, Scott took on the role of Teaching Pastor, inaugurating a teaching service each Sunday at 9:30 a.m., in which Scott continues to be the primary preacher. Scott holds a Ph.D. from the University of North Texas, in addition to an MBA from the Harvard Business School and a BA from Louisiana Tech University.
