Patti Scott

MS, LPC-Intern, LCDC-Intern, NCC, Texas Youth Tobacco Awareness Program Facilitator 

Patti holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Texas at Dallas and a Master of Science degree from Texas Woman's University. Patti offers private counseling for individuals (teens on up) as well as group counseling. She has trained at Hazelden Center for Youth and Families in Plymouth, MN and is also a certified facilitator for the Texas Youth Tobacco Awareness Program. The next class will begin in Marchn and meet on the 15th, 17th, 22nd and 24th. 

Patti offers private counseling for individuals for a variety of mental health issues and day to day life challeges. She helps clients with:

As a single mother raising a teenage daughter she has personal experience with many of the issues she helps her clients with.

Holly Scott, MS, LPC-Intern 

Holly holds a Master's in Counseling from Southern Methodist University.  She sees clients of all ages, but she has a special interest in women ages 30's to 50's who are going through challenging life transitions, including:

Psychological and spiritual aspects of chronic illness
Divorce recovery
Relationship issues and second marriage adjustment

David Ashburner

MA, LPC-Intern, NCC

David specializes in counseling men and couples.  He provides a supportive and affirmative counseling setting that can help men and couples sort things out and come up with results that are different from the ones they are currently getting.  David works with clients on issues such as:

Texas Youth Tobacco Awareness Program

TYTAP is a state approved cognitive-behavioral approach to tobacco cessation. Activities in the program engage students to analyze why they use tobacco, how their environment supports their tobacco use, and assists them in developing strategies to begin the cessation process.

Public Lecture Series

The Public Lecture Series sponsored by the St. Andrew Counseling Center seeks to broaden the knowledge base for professionals and families as we all grow in recovery and wholeness. The lecture series brings together practitioners, the church and the larger community for this purpose. St. Andrew is cooperating with The Meadows in Wickenburg, AZ and the Hazelden Foundation to bring nationally recognized speakers to address issues important to our community.

The Meadows is a multi-disorder facility specializing in the treatment of trauma and addiction. The Meadows’ clinical experts reach beyond single-level treatment of addictions, behavioral disorders and psychological conditions to diagnose and treat the underlying problems.
