Prayer Shawl Ministry
The Prayer Shawl Ministry was started at St. Andrew after a member who was undergoing treatment for breast cancer received a prayer shawl from a friend. Since then over 300 prayer shawls have been given to individuals experiencing catastrophic illnesses. The prayer shawls are knitted or crocheted by St. Andrew members who pray over the shawls as they are being made. The shawls are also blessed by the ministers and staff of St. Andrew.
Anyone and everyone is invited to join us even if you don't knit or crochet. We will teach you. We meet on the 3rd Sunday of each month (September - May) at 4:00 p.m. in Room 119.
