Robert Hasley

Senior Pastor

 

Robert Hasley has served as senior pastor of St. Andrew UMC since its organization in 1986.  Prior to that time, he served as an associate pastor at Highland Park United Methodist Church in Dallas, Texas.  Rev. Hasley holds a B.A. degree from Hendrix College in Conway, Arkansas, and Masters of Theology and Doctor of Theology degrees from the Perkins School of Divinity of Southern Methodist University.  Rev. Hasley is active in the Plano community, currently serving on the School Board Improvement Council for Shepton High School, and previously serving as the Chairman for the Curriculum Advisory Committee of the Plano Independent School District and as a member of the Citizenship Advisory Committee for the Strategic Visioning Effort to make Plano I.S.D. into a World Class School District.

Charles Stokes

Associate Pastor

 

Charles Stokes is an ordained deacon in the United Methodist Church. He has served as a United Methodist minister for over 40 years.  Rev. Stokes has served in various roles and is currently leading the Saturday evening worship service at St. Andrew.  Prior to serving St. Andrew UMC, Rev. Stokes spent eight years at Highland Park United Methodist Church in Dallas, Texas.  He received his bachelor's degree from the University of Mississippi, studied at the United States Army School of Business and received his Master of Divinity at the Candler School of Theology.

 

Edlen Cowley

Executive Pastor

 

Edlen Cowley is an ordained elder in the United Methodist Church. He currently leads "The Gathering" Contemporary worship (Sundays at 11:00am, Wesley Hall.) Prior to coming to St. Andrew, Rev. Cowley served on the staff of St. Luke "Community" UMC, led a conference initiative and was the founding pastor of The Foundry Church of the North Texas Conference. He last served as Senior Pastor of Owenwood UMC before coming to St. Andrew. He received his bachelor's degree from The University of Texas at Dallas, and his Master of Divinity from Perkins School of Theology at Southern Methodist University. He has done further work on new church development in The Fitzgerald Academy, and he currently teaches the United Methodist School of Congregational Development.

Doug Meyer

Associate Pastor

 

Doug Meyer is an ordained deacon in the United Methodist Church.  He is currently serving as Minister of Discipleship.  Prior to his service at St. Andrew, Rev. Meyer served for thirteen years at First United Methodist Church in Dallas, Texas, in various Christian education capacities.  He received his Bachelors of Arts degree from Centenary College, and is a graduate of Certification Seminars and Foundation Study courses at Perkins School of Theology at Southern Methodist University and Garrett-Evangelical Seminary at Northwestern University.

 

Michael Reeves

Senior Associate Pastor

 

Michael Reeves joined the staff at St Andrew United Methodist Church in Plano in September 2006. In his role as Senior Associate Pastor and Director of Strategic Resources, he has the responsibility of developing a ministry plan with lay and staff leaders that includes financial communication and analysis, annual giving, capital giving, creative giving, and strategic planning. He previously served as President and Chief Executive Officer for the United Methodist Foundation of Louisiana and before that as Vice President of Stewardship Services for the Texas Methodist Foundation. In the course of his ministry he has also served as a Senior Consultant with two national stewardship consulting firms where he designed and directed over 200 capital campaigns, designed and implemented comprehensive communication and financial plans, and mentored and managed stewardship consultants. He has also coordinated grant writing, problem analysis and guidance, and major gift cultivation.
