Special Music and Farewell Receptions for Bradley Reznicek and Terry Metzger
August 3, 9:30 & 11:00 a.m.
Don’t miss special music in worship from Bradley Reznicek, organist; Terry Metzger, pianist; and the Chancel Choir. Receptions for Brad and Terry will take place at 10:30 a.m. and Noon in the Narthex. This will be Bradley’s final day with us, and Terry will be transitioning to a much less visible role here as he builds his private piano studio in Murphy. Brad has served St. Andrew for 12 years and Terry has been a part of the music staff for 20 years. Come wish them well in their new endeavors.

Ballin’ Monday: Occurs most Mondays (except for Mission Trip and Camp Impact week) of the summer and lasts from 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. We play basketball and volleyball outside until 12:30 p.m. when we come inside to eat hot dogs grilled by the interns! This event is free and is open to all High Schoolers.
TNT (Tuesday Night Thing): Every Tuesday night, we take the Middle Schoolers and High Schoolers (separately) to a fun event! Specific locations and prices are located on our Summer Programming Calendar and on the youth website.
FourTwelve: Our weekly youth group which currently takes place on select Wednesday nights of the summer. (Will be changed to Sunday nights beginning August 17). It is what was previously referred to as “UMYF” and is a time for all St. Andrew youth to gather for fun, fellowship, and spiritual rejuvenation.

Lunch with the Pastor / Joining Day

Christmas in July Gift Card Drive
Seven Loaves Community is collecting $10 Target and Walmart gift cards for Food Pantry clients for Christmas 2014. A donation box is located in the Mission Center kiosk or contact the Missions office.
Backpack & School Supply Drive
July 3-August 6
Please donate new generic backpacks (black, dark blue, or red) that can be used by any age or gender child that are filled with the following items:
Elementary School Age
- 1 pkg. notebook paper (wide ruled)
- #2 pencils
- 1 pkg. colored pencils
- 2 black ink pens
- 2 red ink pens
- 1 eraser
- 1 yellow highlighter
- 2 spiral notebooks (wide ruled; yellow, blue, green, or red)
Middle/High School Age
- Same as elementary list but notebook paper and spiral notebooks should be college ruled
Please drop off at St. Andrew UMC at the Mission Center or the pantry donation drop off in the youth rotunda.

Summer Lunch Program
Through August 15
During the summer, Seven Loaves Community assists in providing healthy lunches for school-aged children who normally depend on free and reduced lunches during the school year. Volunteers are needed Monday-Friday in 90 minute shifts with start times between 11:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.
Costa Rica Mission Trip
Registration and payment deadline is Wednesday, July 30, 12:00pm
Plans for a mission trip to Costa Rica (September 14-19) are underway! The estimated cost is $1500 which will include airfare, transportation in Costa Rica, breakfast and lunch. This is a work trip to help the Cabecar people with a Community Garden. Join us for this informational meeting to find out more.
