Music Academy Fall Semester Registration

The St. Andrew Academy of Music has over 50 students enrolled in private lessons with six teachers. Music lessons are offered in piano, organ, voice, guitar, flute, and violin. The academy employs excellent teachers and provides a safe environment for both St. Andrew members and non-members alike. Clare College Choir Concert “Rejoice in the Lamb”

Since the founding of a mixed voice choir in 1971, the Choir of Clare College, Cambridge has gained an international reputation as one of the leading university choral groups in the world. It's primary function is to lead services in the College’s Chapel. In addition, the group keeps an active schedule of recording, broadcasting, and performing. The Choir has toured throughout Europe, the United States, Japan, China, Russia, and the Middle East. The group has an extensive and diverse repertoire. Many composers have been commissioned to write for the Choir, including Sir John Tavener, Jonathan Dove, Herbert Howells, Tarik O’Regan, John Rutter, Giles Swayne (the College’s Composer in Residence) and James Whitbourn. The Choir also has an extensive discography and currently records for the Harmonia Mundi Label. Click here to read more about this amazing choir.

The concert will include works by Walton, Gibbons, Tye, Byrd, Harvey, Bruckner, Parsons, Vaughan Williams, Parry, Britten, Stanford and Ross. The Chancel Choir of St. Andrew will join forces with the Clare choir for three anthems, and St. Andrew’s new organist, Jonathan Gregoire, will be featured on the 77-rank Létourneau instrument. Third Grade Bible Presentation

Parenting in the Pew

October 12, 3:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. in the Sanctuary Led by Kim Meyers

Children are at church for the same reason as their parents: for the privilege of worshiping God.  Come and learn with your children the joy of worshiping together as a family.  This class is focused on K-2nd graders, but all are welcome to attend.

Fall Festival

October 26, 5:00-7:00 p.m.

Enjoy carnival games, bounce houses, a dunking booth, bobbing for donuts, face painting, and sack races. Snack on cotton candy and popcorn. Come by Smith Worship Center and grab a bowl of chili. We will have Trunk of Treat again this year for the festival. Decorate your trunk for this trick or treating fun. All children are invited to wear costumes and participate.

Donations of candy for the Trunk or Treat can be left in the Children's ministry office.

Children’s Music Ministry

All children Kindergarten-5th grade are invited to sing in children’s choirs! 3rd-5th graders are invited to ring in chime choir! Join the fun as we lead worship with music. Covenant Groups

Covenant groups are small groups of guys or girls all of the same age and gender that come together and meet on a regular (weekly) basis. They have one (or two) primary leader(s) who are committed to setting a Godly example and pouring into the lives of the youth in their group. The groups are structured around the Bible and creating strong, authentic Christian fellowship among group members.

Joseph's Coat Giveaway

Joseph’s Coat will distribute coats to over 950 children in the community on Saturday, November 8 from 9am-noon. You can help Joseph's Coat by donating children's coats for boys ages 5-12 and girls ages 5-14. Go to our wish list we have created through Amazon to purchase coats individually and have them shipped directly to Seven Loaves Community. Seven Loaves Community is collecting $10 Target and Walmart gift cards for Christmas to distribute to our Food Pantry client's children. Gift cards can be placed in kiosk mail slot located in the Mission Center or contact the Missions office during office hours. .
