Preschool

Preschool offers a structured learning experience for children who are 2, 3, and 4 years old by September 1. Classrooms are set up in centers offering science, art, home and family living, blocks, music, books, and readiness activities. The children have large muscle activities on the playground and in the classroom. They have music with a special music teacher each day they are at school.

Two Year Olds

Two year olds may attend two days a week on Monday and Wednesday or Tuesday and Thursday. The hours are Monday and Tuesday 9:05 a.m. to 12:00 Noon or 2:00 p.m. and Wednesday and Thursday 9:05 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. On days the child stays until 2:00 p.m., they bring their lunch and have a rest time after lunch.

Three Year Olds

Three year olds may attend two days on Tuesday and Thursday or three days on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. The hours on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 9:05 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and Friday 9:05 a.m. to Noon. On days the child stays until 2:00 p.m., they bring their lunch. Three year olds must be trained to take care of all of their restroom needs. The children attend Chapel once a week in the afternoon.

Four Year Olds

Four year olds may attend two days on Tuesday and Thursday, three days on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, or four days a week on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. The two day per week program meets on Tuesday and Thursday from 9:05 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The three day a week program meets on Monday from 9:05 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Wednesday 9:05 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., and Friday from 9:05 a.m. to Noon. The four day a week class meets from 9:05 a.m. to Noon on Monday and 9:05 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. On days the child stays until 2:00 p.m., they bring their lunch. Four year olds must be trained to take care of all their restroom needs. Once a week the children attend Chapel and have a Spanish lesson.

Pre-K 5

The Pre-K class addresses the unique needs of a child who is “not yet ready" to participate in a Kindergarten class or will be 5 years old by December of the school year. The child must have completed a 4-year-old program to be eligible. This is a five-day a week class which meets from 9:05 a.m. to Noon on Monday and Friday. The hours on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday are 9:05 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The children bring their lunch on days they stay until 2:00 p.m. Once a week the children attend Chapel and have a Spanish lesson.
