St. Andrew Nursery Ministry
Infants Through 2 Years

Offered during 8:15, 9:30 and 11:00 Worship Services.

Even the youngest lambs will experience God's love through our caring, safe and nurturing environment. Each of our nursery rooms are staffed with both paid child care providers and parent volunteers.  Nursery care is offered during all worship services and weekly activities with advanced reservations.

Please provide and label appropriate items such as diapers, change of clothing, bottles and/or cups anytime your child will be cared for in our nursery. At check-in or in the classroom, you will be issued a numbered pager and that number will be printed on your child's name tag.  No child will be released to anyone other than a parent with the corresponding Checkpoint tag.

Please do not bring your child to the nursery unless they have been free from the following symptons for at least 24 hours: vomiting, diarrhea, sore throat, any excessive nasal drainage, coughing and fever of 100.

We will never stop colds or the flu, but we will try and make your child's class an ideal place to catch the joy of Christ!

Two Year Olds

Offered During 9:30 and 11:00 a.m. Worship Services.

Each Sunday School class is staffed with both paid staff and parent volunteers. At your child's appropriate room you will be issued a numbered pager. That number will be written on your child's name tag. No child will be released to anyone other than a parent with the corresponding numbered pager.

The St. Andrew nursery has adopted guidelines for Disease Control for proper hand washing and diapering techniques.

Preschool

3 Years Old (by September 1) Through Kindergarten

9:30 a.m. & 11 a.m. ~ Elevate Jr.

Elevate Jr. is designed for children who are ages 3-5 years old. Elevate Jr. will grab your child's attention and take them on a fun journey of Biblical learning.

Elevate Jr.:

• utilizes fantastic animations, puppets, music and graphics to help you teach the lesson.
• teaches children how to apply Bible concepts and stories to their everyday lives.
• provides classroom activities to help the children apply what they have learned.
• allows your children's programming to be fresh and new every 8 weeks with each fun theme.

Elementary Sunday School

1st, 2nd, 4th and 5th Grades

9:30 a.m. Only ~ Elevate Kids

Elevate kids is designed for children in grades 1-5 and will take your children on a fun journey of Biblical learning.

Welcome: Each child is greeted at their classroom by their small group leader.  Children participate with their small group in an activity meant to introduce the main point we want children to walk away with and remember that morning.

Large Group Environment:  Shortly after arriving, children are moved to their large group environment where they participate in worship and hear the Bible story in an interactive, multimedia environment.  Elements of traditional worship such as, the Lord's Prayer, Affirmation of Faith, joys & concerns, etc. will be incorporated to teach our children about the importance of worship.

Small Group Environment:  After participating in worship, children travel back to their small group classroom where their small group leaders help them understand how the day's Bible lesson can fit into their everyday life.  Our hope is that every Sunday they connect with their small group and small group leader that is consistent in helping them grow in their faith and Biblical understanding.

3rd Grade Bible Class

9:30 a.m. Only

All 3rd graders are invited to participate in an all-year process where they learn about the Bible and do memory work on key Bible passages, as well as specific doctrines of the faith. At the end of this process, they will be recognized at the 11:00 a.m.worship service. For more information, contact Julie Klossner, 214-291-8094.
