David Ashburner specializes in counseling men and couples. He provides a supportive and affirmative counseling setting that can help men and couples sort things out and come up with results that are different from the ones they are currently getting. David works with clients on issues such as:

  • Anger management
  • Infidelity

  • Impulse control

  • Mid-life crisis

  • Issues related to alcohol, drugs, and pornography
  • Poor communication skills
  • Controlling and rigid behavior

David has been married over 30 years, and knows it takes work to have a good marriage. He understands men’s issues, and from his work with men, he has been able to help many women who have problems with men. He knows the benefits of couples and individual counseling because he has done it!

Public Lecture Series

The Public Lecture Series, sponsored by the St. Andrew Counseling Center, seeks to broaden the knowledge base for professionals and families as we all grow in recovery and wholeness. The lecture series brings together practitioners, the church and the larger community for this purpose. St. Andrew, in partnership with The Meadows in Wickenburg, AZ, seeks to bring nationally-recognized speakers to address issues important to our community.

The Lecture Series meets every second Tuesday of the month from 7:00-8:30 p.m. in Festival Hall. CEUs will be provided for professionals.

Navigating Recovery is not only passionate about seeing youth and their families succeed in recovery, we are committed to our mission.
