Children’s Day Out

Children’s Day Out (CDO) is for children who are 12-23 months old by September 1. The children in the toddler rooms have planned activities that include but are not limited to finger plays, music, free play, books, and outdoor and indoor play fun. Toddlers may attend one day a week on Wednesday or Thursday. The hours are 9:05 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The children bring their lunch and have a rest time after lunch. Class Size: 8 children to 2 adults

Preschool

Preschool offers a structured learning experience for children who are 2, 3, and 4 years old by September 1. Classrooms are set up in centers offering science, art, home and family living, blocks, music, books, and readiness activities. The children have large muscle activities on the playground and in the classroom. They have music with a special music teacher each day they are at school.

Two Year Olds

Two year olds may attend two days a week on Monday and Wednesday or Tuesday and Thursday. The hours are 9:05 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The children bring their lunch and have a rest time after lunch on both class days. Class Size: 6 children to 1 adult

Three Year Olds

Three year olds may attend two days on Tuesday and Thursday or three days on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday or Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday. The hours on Monday through Thursday are 9:05 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and Friday 9:05 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. On days the child stays until 2:00 p.m., they bring their lunch. Three year olds must be trained to take care of all of their restroom needs. The children attend Music, Chapel and Motor Movement throughout the week. Class Size: 10 children to 1 adult

Four Year Olds

Four year olds may attend three days a week or four days a week. A three day a week program is offered on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. A four day a week program is offered on Monday through Thursday. The three day Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday program meets from 9:05 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The four day Monday through Thursday program meets from 9:05 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. On days the child stays until 2:00 p.m., they bring their lunch. Four year olds must be trained to take care of all their restroom needs. The children attend Music, Chapel, Spanish, Literacy Groups and Motor Movement throughout the week. PreK 5

The PreK 5 class addresses the unique needs of a child who is “not yet ready” to participate in a Kindergarten class or will be 5 years old by September 1 of the school year. The child must have completed a 4-year-old program to be eligible. This is a five-day a week class which meets from 9:05 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 9:05 to 12:00 p.m. on Friday. The children bring their lunch on days they stay until 2:00 p.m. The children attend Music, Chapel, Spanish, Literacy Groups and Motor Movement throughout the week. Class Size: 10 children to 1 adult
