St. Andrew Discipleship Path Recommends Crown
St. Andrew's Discipleship path program recommends the highly successful Bible study from Crown Financial Ministries, an interdenominational, nonprofit organization. Experience this life-changing study, for everyone regardless of financial condition. Come learn to center your life to "keep up with Jesus, not the "Joneses". Did you know there are over 2,350 verses in the Bible about money? The Bible is packed with wise counsel about your financial life.
These classes are strongly recommended as part of St. Andrew's Discipleship Path program, and 2 types of studies are offered. "Managing our Finances God's Way" is a video-based introductory study, targeted for new SAUMC members. "Crown Biblical Financial Life Group Study" is a small group in-depth Bible study, targeted for all members and community. Details are below for each type:

The Small Group Study is a 10-week in-depth study of what scripture teaches about money and possessions. Graduates have confirmed that marriages are being strengthened and individuals are finding their way out of dept. They are also becoming consistent savers, generous givers, and prudent consumers. Most importantly, people are entering into a closer relationship with Jesus Christ as they learn to apply his word. This Bible based study begins the week of February 21 and is a small group study. Classes are held at the church, on Sunday or Tuesday evenings. Note: no one will be asked to share their personal financial details. Classes meet for 10 weeks, 2 hours per class. Bible reading and discussion preparation required each week prior to class for small group discussion. Social time included for fellowship during the semester. Book fee is $50 for a single person, $60 total for a couple. Scholarships/payment plans available.

Co-developed with Purpose Driven Ministries' Pastor Rick Warren & Crown Financial Ministry, this 7-week, video-based class studies biblical financial management. Learn God's principles for saving/investing, spending, debt, giving, contentment. You will not be asked to share personal financial information. Workbooks are $20 (one per family). Class meets Sundays, Feb. 21 for 7 sessions 4:30 - 6:00 p.m. in room 127 (No class Easter 4/4)
