Music Staff
Chris Crook
Chris Crook joined the staff of St. Andrew in 1998. His responsibilities include the administration of the music staff, planning and leading worship and directing the youth and adult choirs. Under Chris's leadership, the St. Andrew Chancel Choir has performed annual major works at home and abroad. Outside of its own beautiful and acoustically superior Sanctuary/Concert Hall, the choir has performed in Carnegie Hall, the Meyerson Symphony Center and in Bern, Switzerland as a part of the International Church Music Festival. Chris received degrees in voice, organ and choral conducting from Mississippi College and Baylor University. He is an active member and clinician with American Choral Directors Association, Texas Choral Directors Association and Choristers Guild and has led music camps for the North Texas Conference of the United Methodist Church. Prior to this position at St. Andrew, Chris served several churches in Mississippi and Texas.
Terry Metzger
Terry Metzger is Director of Instrumental Music, and has performed as conductor and pianist throughout the U.S. as well as in Austria, Canada, and China. This well rounded musician holds degrees in Trumpet Performance from Ithaca College and Orchestral Conducting from Southern Methodist University and studied voice with Madeline Sanders of Dallas. Terry is also in demand as a vocal coach, accompanist, and piano teacher. A church musician since he was 14, Terry has been at St. Andrew since 1994. When not working Terry spends as much time as possible with his wife and best friend, Simone.
Bradley Reznicek
Bradley Reznicek joined the staff of St. Andrew in the summer of 2002. He received the Bachelor of Music degree in Organ and Church Music from Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene, Texas in May 2000, and received the Master of Music degree in Organ from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas in December 2004. His professors included Dr. John Campbell and Dr. Albert L. Travis, respectively. In addition to his responsibilities as organist, he is curator of the 77-rank Létourneau organ installed in May 2003 in the St. Andrew sanctuary, directs the Celebration Bells handbell choir, teaches organ and is Financial Director of the St. Andrew Academy of Music. He is a member of the Dallas Chapter of the American Guild of Organists, Texas Choral Directors Association, and The Hymn Society.
Maryanne Visconti
Maryanne Visconti joined the staff of St. Andrew in the spring of 2002. A church musician since childhood, Ms. Visconti has served congregations in Illinois, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Florida, and Texas. Holding her degree in Piano and Education, with a Vocal Minor, from Texas Wesleyan, Maryanne graduated Summa Cum Laude with Honors, the Valedictorian of her class. Her organ instructor was Dr. Donald Bellah. Ms. Visconti has performed as a pianist, organist, vocalist, and choral accompanist and is also sought after as an instructor, clinician, and vocal, show, and instrumental accompanist. She is a member of AGO, TCDA, and TMEA, and she supports the Hymn Society as well as various piano societies. Her responsibilities at St. Andrew include accompanying Salt & Light youth choir, children's choirs, and musician for The Early Service.
Brenda Potter
Brenda Potter is the Director of Children's Choirs and Voice Instructor at St. Andrew. She is a soprano soloist in the Dallas area and currently resides in Frisco. Most recently, she was the soprano soloist for local composer, David Featherstone's premiere of "Testament". Past engagements have included everything from singing the National Anthem for the Boston Red Sox at Fenway Park as well as performing in Paris, Austria and Czech Republic. Her past roles have included Gilda in Rigoletto, Goldnetrille in Der Schauspieldirektor, Laetitia in The Old Maid and the Thief, and Erste Dame in The Magic Flute. She attended The University of Texas at Austin and has studied under William Lewis, Nancy Elledge, Mary Dibbern and Peggy Bouveret.
