Serve God by serving others. It is our Christian duty to help those in need. As James 1:22 says, “Be doers of the word and not merely hearers.” Along the path of doing our Christian duty, we pray that your participation in serving others will be just as meaningful for you as it is for the people you are helping.

School Supply Drive

We are in Need of Items for 1,500 More Children

We are urgently seeking more school supplies for our drive which benefits children from the Seven Loaves Food Pantry as well as Metrocrest Social Services, Wesley-Rankin Community Center and Plano ISD.

“With August fast approaching, we are greatly concerned that we will not be able to meet the needs of those we are trying to help in time for the start of school,” said Rev. Arthur Jones, Assoc. Pastor of Missions and Young Adults.  “We started our effort in June this year, but have only collected items for about 500 children so far.  With families now becoming more focused on the start of school, it is our hope they will buy for others while shopping for their children, which will make a huge difference. Please help if you can!”

St. Andrew's goal is to help over 3,000 kids get off on the right foot when school starts in the fall. We need your help to meet this huge need. Please bring your donations and drop them off in the Mission Center or the Seven Loaves drop off in the Youth Rotunda. We will be collecting through August 15, in order to distribute the supplies before school starts.

Below is the list of supplies needed.  You can also pick up the list at the church.
