Chris joined the staff of St. Andrew in 1998. His responsibilities include
the administration of the music staff, planning and leading worship and
directing the youth and adult choirs. Under Chris's leadership, the St.
Andrew Chancel Choir has performed annual major works at home and abroad.
Outside of its own beautiful and acoustically superior Sanctuary/Concert
Hall, the choir has performed in Carnegie Hall, the Meyerson Symphony Center
and in Bern, Switzerland as a part of the International Church Music Festival.
Chris received degrees in voice, organ and choral conducting from Mississippi
College and Baylor University. He is an active member and clinician with
American Choral Directors Association, Texas Choral Directors Association
and Choristers Guild and has led music camps for the North Texas Conference
of the United Methodist Church. Prior to this position at St. Andrew, Chris
served several churches in Mississippi and Texas.
