St. Andrew Director of Instrumental Music Terry Metzger has performed as
conductor and pianist throughout the U.S. as well as in Austria, Canada,
and China. This well rounded musician holds degrees in Trumpet Performance
from Ithaca College and Orchestral Conducting from Southern Methodist University
and studied voice with Madeline Sanders of Dallas. Terry is also in demand
as a vocal coach, accompanist, and piano teacher. A church musician since
he was 14, Terry has been at St. Andrew since 1994. When not working Terry
spends as much time as possible with his wife and best friend, Simone.
