There are places around the globe where doctors, nurses, and basic health care is nonexistent. 4 CORNERS Global Outreach is an ecumenical, faith-based organization guided by United Methodist churches to provide primary medical care to communities around the world who have inadequate or no access to basic medical services. 4 CORNERS Global Outreach is committed to providing access to primary health care through community clinics, even when the community is a two-hour walk from the nearest road.

Working through the local in-country government, agencies, and at the invitation of the local community in need, 4 CORNERS helps these communities build and sustain primary care clinics. The first clinic in Puerto Viejo Sarpiqui, Costa Rica is serving as a model for the many primary care clinics we hope to facilitate and build worldwide.
