Welcome Desk

Let your friendly, welcoming smile be what our visitors remember about St. Andrew. The Welcome Desk needs you! Assist our visitors by answering basic questions such as, "Where does my 3rd grade daughter go to Sunday School?” All the answers you will need are in print for a quick answer. Connection Coffee Volunteers

The Connection Coffee in the Parlor is the place to meet new and old friends and grab a cup of coffee on Sunday mornings from 10:30-11:00 a.m. If you would like to join the Connection Coffee Team at St. Andrew, contact Stephen & Marla Kyriakos

Inviting Ministry Volunteer

The Inviting ministry strives to connect our guests to the heart of our church life by letting every guest know how happy we are they have come, so no one is missed or left behind. From a warm greeting to helping people connect in small groups, individuals who serve receive so much more than they feel they are giving. Support is needed prior to and after all worship services on Sunday mornings. For more information contact Kate Huber.

Ushers

Ever looked at one of our fine ushers and thought, “I could do that”? You can and now is your chance. We need extra ushers for all services. Training is provided. Email Ray Ogden or call 214-693-9126.

Phone Volunteers

Assist our office staff with answering the phones. For more information regarding tasks and hours available, email Donna Fenwick or call 214-291-8011.

Communion Servers

Volunteers are needed for assistance in serving Communion during worship services. Servers work on a prearranged schedule. Email Guy Burgoon.

Greeters

One of the many positive comments we receive from visitors is they feel warmly welcomed as they walk through the doors by the Greeters stationed throughout the church. Greeters are asked to be at their stations 20 minutes prior to the start of worship services. Audio/Visual Support

Once a Month on Average

Additional volunteers are needed to run sound and assist with visual presentation in worship on Saturday evenings and Sunday mornings. Training is provided. Email Diana McKnight.

Bulletin Preparation Team

This lively group helps with the finishing preparations of the weekly Worship Bulletin. The task is simple: insert the weekly Bible Study into the folded outer shell of the bulletin. The group meets each week on Friday morning from 10:00–11:00 a.m. Email Scott Ayers.
