Adult Sunday School comprises small groups that focus on Bible study, Christian life perspectives, and fellowship through social and mission activities. Each group is unique, so we encourage you to check out more than one.

ANEW | Couples and singles in their 50s

11:00 a.m., Room 123
Studies spiritual growth, biblical and contemporary issues. Members also enjoy regular social activities and are actively involved in volunteering at the church. Provides adult spiritual growth and fosters friendships with other Christians.

Built to Last | Couples 20s-40s

11:00 a.m., Room 123
Most with children ranging from newborn through elementary
It is a discussion-based group that focuses on the application of biblical principles as they relate to relationships, marriage and spiritual growth. The members of this group invite you to join them as they get to know each other through studies, socials and mission projects.

Bible Book Club | Women 20s-30s

9:30 a.m., Room 119 (Conference Room)
An engaging life-application Bible study for young women. All attendees play a role in selecting a book of interest for the group to read and discuss in depth.

Discipling Parents | Parents of teens through young adult

All about studying and growing in their faith journey as individuals and parents.

Koinonia  |  Young Adults 19 through mid 20s

Noon, Room 121
A class for young adults 19 through mid-20s. Built on the importance of affirming your faith and applying it to the transitional time at the end of your college career. Open to anyone in college or having recently graduated, we aim to build connections that will lead you to having a strong community of believers to grow with through the next stages of life. Joy Class | all life stages

11:00 a.m., Piro Hall 4
The class engages in scripture-based study with open discussion. It is a Christian fellowship, who rejoice together in times of joy, provide comfort in times of sorrow, and give support in times of need. As the name implies, it is a “Joy”ful class.

Leap of Faith | Couples and singles: 50s and 60s; many with college-age and adult children

11:00 a.m., Piro Hall 3
Self-taught class that explores a variety of subjects important to Christians today.  Lessons are Bible-based, including studies on specific books of the Bible, prayer, the importance of community, essential Christian beliefs, other religions, and many others.  Sharing of experiences and discussion are encouraged.  The class has been active in numerous mission projects and social events are regularly scheduled.  Contact Kathy or Greg:  972-248-1680.

THE LOFT | 4Mid -50s adults with college-age &/or grown children

Parenting with Grace | Married couples 30s and 40s

Married couples in their 30s and 40s with children. Weekly studies are group-based discussions focused on topics ranging from Christian parenting and marriage to in-depth studies of the Bible. We invite you to join us as we deepen our relationships with Christ and each other through weekly studies, mission work and social activities.

Parents of Purpose | parents of teens

Parents seeking to guide teen-aged children in growing their personal faith in Jesus Christ, serve their community, and be involved members of the St. Andrew community. 

Seekers | adults with children/grandchildren

8:30 a.m., Room 126
Adults with grown children and grandchildren who seek to incorporate and enhance their daily and spiritual lives through Bible study, social activities,  mission projects in the church and community, and support of one another through difficult times and life's challenges. 

Something Else | adults

11:00 a.m., Smith Worship Center
This is a large lecture-oriented class that is open to all adults. It even has a few teenagers each week. The class focuses on series of interest to many Christians, and is suitable for those who want to attend the class regularly, those who can attend occasionally, and those who’ve never attended Sunday School.

SPIRIT Singles | 50 & Over

Single People Involved in Relating and Inspiring Together — The SPIRIT Sunday School class is dedicated to spiritual growth, community service, supporting one another and weekly fun, social activities. Two by Two | baby boomers

9:30 a.m., Room 120
The Two by Two class is comprised of baby boomers with adult children. The class enjoys fun and fellowship along with community outreach. This engaging group continues in its faith journey and discussions of contemporary issues led by class members and outside speakers. The class meets regularly for social activities and provides awe-inspiring support for class members’ prayer requests. Two by Two has volunteer commitments to Seven Loaves and Project Hope programs.

Visions | single or married adults

11:00 a.m., Piro Hall 2
Comprising married couples and single adults in varying stages of family life. This group engages in lively discussion of today’s world, and the role of Christians in it. The group supports a caring and casual atmosphere where open discussion is always encouraged during study. The group regularly participates in social and mission activities, and its members are actively involved in several ministry areas of the church.

Walk tHIS Way | 30s and 40s

9:30 a.m., Room 121
A group centered around providing a comfortable environment for people to share and learn from each other as we all work to balance our faith with our daily lives. Many of us are parents with young children and some of us are not, but we all share a desire to grow in our faith and friendship with Christ and to be around others who are searching for the same thing.

Woman to Woman | all ages, single or married

9:30 a.m., Room 133
This ladies-only group takes journeys through the Bible using study guides. The discussions are lively, and the sharing of personal views and experiences is encouraged. The group enjoys social activities, traveling together, and engaging in mission work for Parkland Hospital. This group is open to all ages — single or married.
