Saturday

5:30 p.m. in Wesley Hall
with Rev. Charles Stokes

The Saturday evening service features traditional Christ-centered, Biblically-based sermons, along with a relaxed atmosphere and casual dress. Chris Crook and Bradley Reznicek lead a variety of worship music with the Wesley Choir and other ensembles, soloists, and instrumentalists. Saturday night is truly alive at St. Andrew!

The season of Lent is a special time to help us remember what this means. I must warn you, though, the closer you get to the cross, the more likely you will have to help carry it. Simon of Cyrene got so near he had to help Jesus physically carry it. Jesus is carrying the cross not only for you and me but for the homeless, the helpless, the forgotten, the crying, the mistreated, the needy, the lost. That’s carrying a lot so when you get near the cross, watch out, you may be needed. This Saturday if you get near Wesley Hall around 5:30 p.m. you might have to worship, so watch out. See you in church.

Sunday

8:15 a.m. in Wesley Hall
with Rev. Kathy McLean-Davis

Our 8:15 a.m. service is perfect for those who want to get a head start on their day so you have the rest of the day for family and friends. Enjoy the traditional format you've come to expect, be refreshed in an atmosphere of worship in Wesley Hall, and enjoy the fellowship of a smaller worship setting for that hometown feel. Holy Communion is served weekly as part of our worship experience. Coffee, plenty of parking and the expression of God's love will welcome you each week.

You see an amazing display of BBQ beef brisket and a sad bowl of dried corn kernels, like those that might be fed to pigs. Which would you choose? This week we will explore the choices before the younger son, the elder son, and the Father. And in case you haven't figured it out, the scripture is from Luke 15:1-3, 11b-32.

9:30 a.m. in the Sanctuary
with Dr. Scott Engle

Dr. Scott Engle is gifted with an ability to convey complex theological issues with simplicity, clarity, and enthusiasm. Rev. Robert Hasley continues to be the presiding pastor in this service and the Chancel Choir and other ensembles lead the music. Join us for this Christ-centered worship built on a foundation of engaging Biblical teaching.

The affirmations we will examine this week in the Apostles’ Creed answer the question of why we worship Jesus. There are four claims made: 1. Jesus was resurrected on the third day after his death; 2. Jesus returned to heaven; 3. Jesus was exalted by God; 4. Jesus is the judge before whom all will stand. Join us in our ongoing study of The Apostles’ Creed as we look at Jesus’ suffering, crucifixion, and death.

11:00 a.m. in the Sanctuary
with Rev. Robert Hasley & Rev. Edlen Cowley

This progressive-traditional worship experience is designed for people of all ages and in all stages of their faith journeys. Powerful music from the Chancel Choir and music ensembles and inspirational, narrative sermons combine to give glory to God and witness to our hope in Jesus Christ.

This powerful sermon series is based upon a study written by Rev. Adam Hamilton titled “24 Hours that Changed the World.” Come this Sunday and walk with us as we begin the journey through the 24 hours of Jesus’ life that led to the cross, and ultimately, his resurrection.

This week we will experience the significance of the events surrounding the sentencing of Jesus, the release of Barabbas, and the conflict of Pilate.

Wednesday
